Most organisations say they want more women in their workforce - but the truth is, most lose female talent long before the interview stage. Not because women aren't interested, but because the signals, systems and behaviours around the recruitment weren't built with them in mind. I work with organisations who want to change that; who want to understand why women are not applying, why they're not progressing, and what needs to shift so female talent can get in - and stay
If you want all the talent, you need a system where women can get in - and stay. That's where I work.

Our services
What is really happening in your talent pipeline?
> Women are not applying for roles within your organisation at entry level and beyond, but you don't know why.
> Women working within your organisation aren't remaining or progressing.
> Recruitment processes are unintentionally filtering out the very people you want and need to attract.
> The behaviours and signals women experience during recruitment and onboarding don't match the organisations intentions.
> New starters have inconsistent onboarding experiences, depending on the team they land in.
> Leaders know the pipeline is leaking, but not where or why.
> Governance around recruitment, progression, conduct and retention isn't giving leaders the visibility they need to spot issues early or address them consistently
Recruitment review
A clear look at the signals, language and processes that shape who applies - and who doesn't. This identifies where women are being unintentionally filtered out long before interview.
Diagnostic and barrier mapping
A deeper examination of the systems, behaviours and cultural patterns effecting female attraction, progression and retention. This shows leaders exactly where the pipeline is leaking (including focus groups).
Governance and oversight review
An assessment of how recruitment, progression and conduct are monitored and discussed at senior levels - highlighting where governance gaps are hiding issues or preventing consistent action.
On boarding and early experience review
A review of the existing on boarding processes, with practical insight lead recommendation to ensure women who join feel supported, valued and thrive followed by a review after the first 30 days.
Leadership conversations and guest speaking
Sessions that help leaders ,or teams, understand the real barriers women face, shift thinking, and build confidence in addressing the issues.
Ongoing advisory support
Continues guidance to help leaders maintain momentum, embed change and strengthen the talent pipeline over time.
The impact we create
More Women Applying for Roles
Clearer signals and more inclusive processes mean women can see themselves in the roles you want them to apply for.
Stronger Progression for Female Talent
Women already inside the organisation feel able to step forward, put themselves in the frame and progress at the pace their capability deserves.
Improved Behaviours and Culture
Leaders and teams understand the signals they’re sending, expectations become clearer, and everyday behaviours shift — creating a culture where women feel safe, valued and able to thrive.
Recruitment Processes That Attract — Not Filter Out — Women
From job adverts to interview panels, the system becomes one that welcomes female talent rather than unintentionally excluding it.
A Consistent Experience From First Contact to the First 30 Days
Women who join feel supported and confident, reducing early attrition and strengthening trust from day one.
Leaders With Clear Sight of the Real Issues
Governance improves. Leaders understand where the pipeline is leaking, why it’s happening, and what needs to change.
A Healthier, More Sustainable Talent Pipeline
Attraction, progression and retention all strengthen — not through initiatives, but through better systems, better oversight and better leadership behaviours.
"I would highly recommend Sam to any organisation looking to improve inclusion, attract diverse talent, and create lasting cultural change." - review from Jacob Clark, Assoc CIPD

Meet our founder
I spent 30 years in policing, working in environments where women were often under‑represented and where the system wasn’t always designed with them in mind. Over those three decades, I saw the challenges women faced — but I also saw what happened when organisations paid attention, changed their approach and committed to getting representation right. Policing made real progress, and I’m proud to have played a part in that. But it also taught me something important: progress only lasts when leaders stay focused, stay curious and stay honest about what the system is really doing.
My experience has shown me that women bring enormous value to organisations — not because of who they are, but because of the behaviours, skills and perspectives they contribute. Higher trust and confidence. Better performance and decision making. Improved culture and behaviour. The ability to navigate complexity and bring people with them.
When women are able to join, stay and progress, teams perform better, culture strengthens and organisations become more resilient.
That’s why I do this work now. I help organisations understand what’s happening in their talent pipeline, where the barriers are, and how to create environments where women can thrive. My approach is grounded in lived experience, governance, and a clear understanding of how systems shape behaviour. I’m not here to deliver initiatives. I’m here to help leaders build workplaces where women can contribute fully — and where organisations benefit from the talent they’ve been missing.
